Big Boy

I always heard the expression about babies that "they grow up overnight!" I just figured it was moms being sentimental about their kids getting older.

But in fact . . . they do grow overnight.

In only the last week Owen has started pulling himself up on things WITHOUT help and on Tuesday morning I went into his room in the morning and he was standing up in his crib. Very pleased with himself I might add.

Jon and I promptly lowered the crib mattress that night!

Below is one of the only pictures I've been able to get where you can kind of see both his teeth (on the bottom).

Jon left for Japan yesterday. He'll be gone until Friday. He wasn't sure if he'd have internet access but I thought I'd put up some new pictures just in case.

Feed Me!!

Owen is definitely a good eater. He is now eating cereal, vegetables and fruit every day. As you can see below he is always eager for another bite.

BUT . . . we sometimes see the "ugly" cry when the bowl is empty.

Owen also really likes his teething biscuits and Cheerios. Cheerios are definitely the cleaner choice!

Babies, babies, babies

We spent Saturday with the extended Leeser family for Arianne and Victor's wedding. Owen had fun meeting his second cousin Lincoln for the first time and seeing baby Morgan again. The little boys looked so cute in their sweater vests!

My Favorite Toy

Owen's favorite toy from Christmas is by far the bulldozer. He loves riding around the house on it and making "truck" noises!
