Our Little Helper

We've started him early with chores! This is why people have kids in the first place, right? To do the stuff they don't want to do!

The video is sideways. Apparently the camera doesn't know that I wanted to take the video vertical instead of horizontal. Oh well, it's too cute not to post.

While Mom's Away . . .

. . . the boys have FUN!!!!

Apparently Jon is a better fort builder than I am. Owen actually invites him in the fort!

Plus Jon made special "fort club" hats for them to wear while playing.

He even took pictures of it!

Buddies

We went to visit Aubri and her son Braeden last week. Owen & Braeden played really well together and it was fun to watch them follow each other.

They were both so excited to watch the squirrels outside and the neighbor's dog.

Typical Day

When it's cold outside & we have to stay inside, here's two activities that will typically entertain Owen for a whole 30 minutes!!

Building a couch fort & Play-doh. Today we did both.

Mom wasn't allowed in the fort today, only the tools!

.
Surprisely, Owen didn't try to eat any Play-doh today.

Just Reading a Book

Where is this boy's mother? Doesn't she know it's 20 deg outside?!

Put a shirt on already!

Hair Cut - Take 2

On Friday Owen got his 2nd hair cut. It went sooooo much better than the first one.

He fussed initially but once Owen had a sucker and a TV in front of him, we were good to go.
The lady was able to use the clippers and give him a real "big boy" hair cut.
Owen looks so different. The next morning I had to officially say that my baby is now a big boy.

He looks so darn cute!

My New Years Resolutions:
1) Give up my binkie
2) Learn more words
3) Listen to my Mom & Dad
4) Try to persuade Mom I need a dog
5) Try to persuade Dad I should be allowed to go on his "man-cation", I am almost 2, you know!!!
