Juice

Since Owen figured out how straws work (see last post), he new favorite treat is a juice box!

Mom's challenge:

1) Keeping him in the kitchen while drinking and

2) Teaching him not to squeeze the box!

Pool Time

Owen really enjoyed playing in his new pool. I think he thought the water was a little cold at first but after a few minutes it was playtime!

Well . . . we posed Owen for this picture, thinking he still didn't understand how straws worked. While I took the picture he figured it out and got his first taste of pop. Owen had a minor crying fit when we took the cup away . . . apparently he liked it!
Who gives pop to a one-year old?! Worst parents ever!

Toys, Toys, Toys

I haven't updated lately because we've been so busy playing with toys! Owen has really been enjoying all his new birthday toys. Sometimes he justs wanders between them all not knowing what to play with first.

Let Him Eat Cake!

OWEN IS 1 YEAR OLD!! We can't believe it.

We had a wonderful party on Sunday for Owen. Thanks to all our friends and family who came over to help us celebrate.




As you can see, Owen really enjoyed the cake!





I also had to post this picture . . . after all the presents were open and all the new toys were sitting out . . . Owen and his cousins only wanted to play in the big box!!
